Isabella Tellez Cardenas
Isabella Téllez, a 21 year-old International Relations student at ULACIT, is the Educational and Training Coordinator for the Waste Reduction and Recycling Program in Matina, Limón. She is responsible for designing and leading educational campaigns on waste separation and recycling. Isabella works closely with the community, organizing workshops and hands-on training sessions to ensure that residents understand and adopt sustainable waste management practices. She also raises awareness about the environmental risks of pesticide use in the pineapple industry, integrating this issue into the program’s educational efforts. Her role is essential in fostering long-term community engagement and behavioral change.
