Jose David Jimenez

José David, a 22-year-old International Relations student at ULACIT, serves as the Community Engagement & Advocacy Lead for the Waste Reduction and Recycling Program in Matina, Limón. He is responsible for fostering strong relationships with local residents, businesses, and organizations to encourage active participation in the initiative. José leads outreach efforts, organizes community meetings, and advocates for sustainable waste management practices. He also raises awareness about the environmental impact of pesticides in the pineapple industry, ensuring that this issue is addressed in discussions and advocacy efforts. His role is key in mobilizing the community and promoting long-term environmental responsibility.
